Flower Ladies

Thought up as a way to not pay attention in class, the story is based on there being a world with limited magic. The magic is only limited to a specific three women, chosen at birth and gifted the ability to make use of the power within their respective flowers to perform magical feats.

They're directly against the descendents or chosen (don't quite remember, will find later) of Orion, a celestial being who wanted to take the stars for himself but was stopped by the three flowers.

Plot

Every generation, there's a group of flower girls. It's been studied but still not known whether they are born at the same time or at different times. This is especially known when one or more of the three dies, there's often not a replacement born in a specific timeframe.

Flowers

There's no set name for them throughout the years, it usually changes from generation to generation. From the Flowers to the Spices to the Floral Ones.
They gather their knowledge of how to do magic and the knowledge of the past flowers through using their respective flowers as conduits.

Rose

They like roses. They're red and thorny and often the leaders, but not guaranteed to be.

Lavender

They're big softies. They also like the color purple, but the book is exactly the same in this universe.

Chamomile

I don't remember this flower. May be hyacinth (probably not). It's not a sunflower...ah I don't recall...

Lifestyle and Culture

Many major events mirror current life. They've got smartphones, cars, and such, but there's a wiccan offshoot that has more traction due to actually being based on the three flowers. They don't glean any magic from the flowers but they help keep a rich and detailed history of all the flowers spanning back multiple years.
